I feel that I have to laugh at the 5 reviewers before me.
Firstly best game ever. Yes, I looked at your name.
Dragonforce songs. Obviously you know nothing about their genre. There are bands out there that play the same kind of music that DF does. You wouldn't know this because you probably only know about them from guitar hero 3. You probably didn't even know have crazy people made their songs on games like stepmania. But really, try some Stratovarius. Knowing one other band from that style might make it look like you have a clue and not just some scene kid.
"WOW" you got a joy that I didn't since two of the songs refused to load. I will not laugh but will full heartily disagree with your line of "best game on newgrounds period." Excuse my lack of capitalization and my bitterness, but this is a WIP and one can clearly tell such. I'm not saying it doesn't have a chance to be the best game on newgrounds (good luck with it beating Defend Your Castle) but right now it's a raw flame.
Ngjunkie666, practice makes perfect. No laughs at you.
Metalmonkey7 however, much more practice for you. The only reason I didn't perfect the songs I played was because I was getting used to the control scheme. Don't score something lower because it is bad, not because you are bad at it.
So, dear creator my list in a nutshell.
Loading - while I like how fast this game seems to load, I'd like to see the instant 100% kinks ironed out.
Exploits - the spacebar may be the whammy bar, but it is also the pause button. I was able to toggle the pause and watch my starpower climb as the rest of the audio and note stream locked at a standstill. When I was content, I unpaused and activated my full bar.
Menu- fickle menu music, not saying I didn't like it, just saying that it was rare occasion that I heard it.
Scoring - submisson boosting makes me cry and if you didn't notice from this oft pompus review, I do believe I am baby jesus. Don't make baby jesus cry.

I'm assuming that you did this to poke fun at the internet population. Which lets you slide with half the stuff you did. However being not entirely sure, I can't give you much more than that. Visually not too bad, but not my kind of humor. I sadly did not piss my pants laughing, since I clicked on this for the "funnies" and not "metal gear".

I went back and played the first SC (since I discovered you on the 2nd SC) and have to say that you have travelled a long way. The animation, the menu formatting, love it.
The difficulty, yea Plan A is hard, but honestly, it's no Through the Fire and the Flames. So, that made it doable. One perfect, eight golds, and four silvers got me to the final song, which I bronzed. They are all doable. Yes I had to retry a few but, that's a little thing we gamers call REPLAY VALUE.
Now, I'm sure, Shinki, you are wondering why you didn't get ten stars. The reason is small but simple. Having the each arrow having it's own row makes it too DDR clone for me. Sure that jacks up the difficulty like mad, but I liked it that way. Maybe have a randomization option in SC's next incarnation?
To end on a happy note, you ate up 4 hours of my Sunday. Be proud.

Ok, i was raised on DDR, practiced on Stepmania, competed in FFR, and played GH on the side. The only thing that floored me this quicky was beatmania with the DJ pad. Most of the rythyms were easy, and I was very happy that after the first song in AM, it got harder quickly. Seven keys, that's setting a bar. Putting the arrows in an odd what's-it-doing-in-that-row-now setting was chasing after us whilst brandishing said bar. I like bars. Apparently I spent well over an hour at least bronzing all the pro songs, and I had plans tonight too...which means this is definitely going in my favorites so I can come back to it later. That and I'm going to see what else you've made. Yes of course I'm going to tell some friends about this. Good job.

The animation method is very unique and the premise is...as always, seeming to be something that feels like an acid trip could make sense of. Not like I don't (or do) condone such.

When I heard the Orange Box was finally out I wanted to buy it for Portal alone. Sadly I was stranded without a 360 or a laptop that could run it. I was about to go buy it regardless and steal the family PC when I found this here.

Yes, the graphics aren't nearly as stunning and it lacks a dimension but the beauty of this creation is that it still imbodies the game play I had yearned from its OBed counterpart.

It is true that I am almost through the game but I already have a list of levels I plan to replay.
However level 38 glitches. More often or not I failed because boxes going through portals reset to where they were at the start of the level, and by that point not reobtainable.
You must play to the ending. It is worth it to see why you played.
Fix the glitches and it gets a 10
